Tim Cooper (Edenz President & Financial Controller
) Ten years teaching at Auckland Grammar provided the professional background and skills for starting Edenz Colleges in 1989. Served as founding president of ESOL national association, and is currently Chairman of Three Kings Soccer Club , the country's largest football club.

Nick Ward (Scriptwriting and Script Development) As the writer and producer of the 2001 film "Stickmen", Nick Ward is one of New Zealand's top screenwriters. He has successfully pitched projects to companies in New Zealand and Hollywood and has had years of experience in the film industry. He has also written nine other screenplays, done several short films and written scripts for television. |

Glenda Irwin (Art Direction and Set Design) Glenda is a returning Kiwi who has had a London-based career. She brings to us her rich experience along with that can-do, know-how NZ approach. Her credits for films, music videos and commercials include: U2, Voodoo Dolls, Smashing Pumpkins, Enya, Star Wars, Coronation Street, British Telecom, Channel 4, MacDonald's, Ford and Coca Cola. |

Kahra Scott James (Sound and Sound Design) Kahra has been involved in the media, arts and entertainment industries for more than a decade. For the last six years she has been working in audio post-production as a principal sound editor/designer/mixer on popular, interactive, animated movie titles such as Superman, Kiss, Xena Warrior Princess, Ace Ventura and Popeye. |

Scott Alexander Young (Production and Directing)
Scott is a writer, actor and independent filmmaker, on loan to us from the European film scene. Currently he has a 25 minute docudrama in New Zealand cinemas and on the NZ arts channel. He is also editing a comedy he shot in Budapest in 2007. Nothing if not versatile, in the last millennium Scott has also produced kooky late night comedy for the Sci-Fi Channel, made continuity for FX UK and sick/funny reality TV for Channel 5 UK - and even voiced a series for the Travel Channel about a car rally to West Africa. |

Jason Wetzel (Camera/Post Production)
Jason has been involved in the media, arts and marketing industries since 1986 after completing training in Art and Design. Since then he was worked as a freelance photo-journalist and marketing consultant, and has progressed through into the world of moving images. In the last five years, Jason has operated as a freelance editor and cameraman, doing projects and contracting to; Discovery Channel, Sundance Channel, Rialto Channel and Sky Sport. |

Asya Sirovnik (Academy Manager) She has been involved in film industry before coming to New Zealand. After graduating in Magna Cum Laude in World Literature from Suffolk University in Boston, U.S.A. she packed up her bags and left to Europe where she worked for a television covering film festivals. She also worked on film sets in Balkan region and after becoming acquainted film industry she decided to go deeper into the structure of the film. In 2005 she packed again and left to New Zealand to study at NZFA. Later she returned to Europe and after attending the Sarajevo Film Festival she was asked to join an in house film distribution company for multiplex cinemas. Having achieved all the objectives with the company she returned back to NZ and took the role of NZFA manager. |

Felix Harmuth(Assistant Manager) Our intern from Germany, Berlin.He has become a vital part of Academy and we love having him on board. Back in Germany he worked on at least 10 film sets, as camera assistant, production assistant, set runner, cable puller, grip assistant etc. Felix loves film and everything and anything that has to do with it. We will miss him when he returns back to Germany next January, but are happy to consider some one as eager as he is to join our management team as assistant!
